Road Safety

Post-Crash Care

What happens in the minutes after a crash can decide whether a victim lives or dies.

Under our various projects related to the social impact of road crashes, we teach the necessity of practicing road safety habits while walking on the roads, basic knowledge of road infrastructure, and the role of bystanders in the case of a road crash — to school students, school teachers, drivers, and youth. This includes raising awareness about the Good Samaritan principle: empowering ordinary people to safely help crash victims.

Post-crash response is also embedded in our objectives: we promote post-accident interventions and road accident victim support through education, communication, advocacy, and rehabilitation, and we promote accident victim compensation insurance schemes through awareness programs on radio, TV, and print media.
