What We Do

Research

Evidence-based road safety: studies, consultancy, and training that inform our programs and advocacy.

Consultancy & Training

Research that serves the community

Save the Nation has been continuously providing content, resources, and training to organizations, corporates, and individuals. We strongly feel the need to spread road safety awareness and have been assisting people to organise workshops, quizzes, training sessions, and seminars to disseminate information and awareness on road safety. Over the years, we have extended our cooperation and consultancy to partners including Amend and the Global Fund, and we produce research papers on road safety.

Driver Orientation Program

Since 2015, SNA's technical team — together with driving school owners and fleet managers — has designed and delivered an advanced driver orientation course in Addis Ababa. The program updates drivers on the latest technology through 2-hour, 4-hour, and full-day sessions with national-level speakers and trainers, and at times international experts. More than 1,000 drivers were oriented by 2017, with feedback confirming they gained new driving skills and feel safer behind the wheel.
