Road Safety
Road Safety Management
Togetherness is a key of success.
Road safety is an area in which multi-sector stakeholders are involved, and sustainable results are only possible in the presence of close, coordinated work. SNA has been working with different stakeholders and continually brings them together across its different projects.
Road safety is a collective responsibility. Partnerships bringing together many sectors of society can promote and facilitate efforts to prevent road traffic deaths and injuries. Such partners include government, industry, non-governmental organizations, international agencies, the business sector, professionals such as road engineers, garages maintaining vehicles, law enforcement officers, and community groups.
Strong political commitment is key to prevention efforts. This commitment requires adequately funded road safety policies and programs which are regularly monitored and evaluated.
